Anagram Rush — Free Online Anagram Word Game

Anagram Rush gives you a set of letters and a countdown. Your job is to find as many valid English words as you can before time runs out. Any combination of the available letters counts — two-letter common words, seven-letter obscurities, everything in between. Longer words score more. Find them all and you top the leaderboard.

How to Play Anagram Rush

A set of letters appears on screen with a timer running. Type any valid English word you can make from those letters. Each word you find is confirmed and added to your score. Words can be any length from two letters upward, using any subset of the available letters. You can use each letter only as many times as it appears in the set. Keep finding words until the timer hits zero.

• 2-letter words — 1 point
• 3-letter words — 2 points
• 4-letter words — 3 points
• 5-letter words — 5 points
• 6-letter words — 8 points
• 7+ letter words — 11+ points
• Finding the longest possible word earns a bonus

Daily Anagram Rush

Every day there's a Daily Anagram Rush with a fixed letter set shared by all players. Complete it to submit your score to the daily leaderboard and see how your word-finding compares against everyone else who played that day. Streaks track how many consecutive days you've completed the daily challenge.

Tips for Higher Scores

• Start with short words to build a score quickly, then hunt for longer ones
• Look for common suffixes and prefixes: -ing, -ed, -er, -tion, un-, re-
• Rearrange the letters mentally — try consonant clusters together to spot hidden words
• Don't fixate on the longest word — three 4-letter words score more than one 5-letter word
• Common 2-letter words (at, it, in, on, an, no) are quick guaranteed points

Word Validity

Anagram Rush uses a standard English word dictionary. Proper nouns, abbreviations, and non-standard forms are not accepted. If a word you try isn't accepted, it won't count toward your score but won't penalise you either — so it's always worth trying.
