Every day, KeyDuel sets one passage for every typist in the world. Complete it and your WPM goes on the global daily leaderboard — you can see exactly how you rank against everyone else who typed the same words on the same day. It resets at midnight, so there's always a fresh challenge waiting and always a reason to come back.

How the Daily Typing Challenge Works

Navigate to the Daily Typing page, read the passage displayed, and start typing when you're ready. Your WPM and accuracy are measured in real time. When you complete the passage, your result is submitted to the daily leaderboard automatically. You can only submit once per day — so make it count.

What Makes It Different from Other Typing Tests

• Shared passage — Everyone types the exact same text, making scores directly comparable.
• Global daily leaderboard — See your rank among all players who completed that day's challenge.
• Streaks — Complete the daily challenge on consecutive days to build your streak. Streaks are shown on your profile.

• Warm up in Practice Mode or Time Trial before your daily attempt
• Read a few words ahead of where you're typing to keep momentum
• Don't panic over a single error — keep moving and stay in rhythm
• Consistent daily practice of 10–15 minutes compounds over weeks into measurable improvement

Streaks & Progress

A free KeyDuel account saves your streak, personal best, and daily history. If you miss a day your streak resets — so the challenge is as much about consistency as raw speed. Many players use the daily challenge as a morning warm-up before work, treating it as a quick five-minute ritual that keeps their typing sharp.
