Free Anagram Solver
KeyDuel's anagram solver finds every valid English word that can be made from your letters, instantly. Enter up to 15 letters, hit solve, and get a complete list sorted by word length — from two-letter words to the longest possible combinations. Free, no sign-up, works directly in your browser.
How to Use the Anagram Solver
Type your letters into the input field and press Solve (or hit enter). The solver searches its full English dictionary and returns every valid word that can be formed using any subset of your letters, using each letter only as many times as it appears in your input. Results are grouped by word length so you can find your best scoring option instantly.
What It's Used For
- Scrabble and Words With Friends — Find the highest-scoring play from your current tiles. Enter your rack letters and any board letters you can connect to.
- Crossword puzzles — Stuck on an anagram clue? Enter the letters you're given and find the answer immediately.
- Word games — Use it to check your Anagram Rush answers, verify words in Word Chain, or prep for Spell Path.
- Casual curiosity — Want to know every word hiding in your name? Or in a random set of letters? Solve it instantly.
Word Sources & Validity
The solver uses a comprehensive standard English dictionary covering common British and American English words. Proper nouns, abbreviations, and profanities are excluded. If you're playing a specific word game with its own official word list (like Scrabble's TWL or SOWPODS), note that some valid Scrabble words may not appear and vice versa — no single word list covers every variant.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of It
- For Scrabble: include blank tiles as a letter you want to test (blanks can be any letter)
- For crosswords with partial fills: include the letters you know — the solver will find matches
- For long letter sets: focus on the 6 and 7-letter results first — those are the highest-value finds
- Sort by length to quickly identify the longest word available from your letters
